On the back of the event’s success, organisers rebooked the event for 2017, so we can look forward to even bigger and better things this next next year!
Simon Albert, event director said: “We are delighted with the success of Automechanika Birmingham. We listened to what the exhibitors and visitors wanted, and with significant investment in the marketing campaign, we delivered an all-encompassing event that exceeded all expectations.
“We have something unique here that the industry needed, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the overwhelming support of the exhibitors, visitors and trade partners. Next
year the event will continue to go from strength to strength with 35% increase in stand space, a supply chain specific area and will be co-located alongside Reifen, the world leading tyre exhibition.”
One local exhibitor, Eclipse Tech, told us that although the event is mainly focused on the car industry, they achieved great success promoting their truck and lorry diagnostic software, as you can clearly see via the image on the right.
The substantial success of Automechanika is growing all of the time, and events are held in 15 countries worldwide, attracting a huge 600,000+ visitors.
